YOUNG HEARTS
STRONG MINDS
Young Hearts, Strong Minds offers friendship, support and fun activities for young people affected by dementia in their family.
Supporting Young People
Young Hearts, Strong Minds supports children and young people who have a loved one living with dementia. The project provides a safe, welcoming space where participants can meet others with similar experiences, share their feelings, and build friendships.
Through peer support, creative activities, sports, and wellbeing sessions, young people gain a better understanding of dementia, develop coping skills, improve confidence, and reduce feelings of isolation.
The programme promotes emotional resilience, positive mental health, social inclusion, and physical wellbeing, helping young people feel supported, connected, and empowered
