Our Mission
Veterans Dementia Support UK is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and assistance to veterans affected by dementia. Our mission is to ensure that veterans living with dementia receive the care, respect, and understanding they deserve. We are committed to creating a supportive community and raising awareness about the unique challenges faced by veterans with dementia. We also support the Emergency Services and and the families of Veterans and Emergency Services staff equally.
At Veterans Dementia Support UK, our story is deeply rooted in our passion for serving those who have served our country. We started with the simple goal of providing specialized support to veterans living with dementia. Over the years, we have expanded our services and outreach to create a network of compassion and care for veterans and their families. Our commitment to making a difference in the lives of veterans with dementia drives everything we do.
OUR OBJECTIVES
These are our objectives in the delivery of our services as agreed by the Charity Commission and our registration as a charitable organisation

To relieve Armed Forces Veterans in need by reason of living with Dementia / Alzheimer’s or undiagnosed memory loss and to relieve the needs of their families and carers by providing ongoing support

To relieve any serving members of the Armed Forces in need by reason of living with early onset dementia and to relieve the needs of their loved ones and colleagues by providing support.

To relieve retired members of the Emergency Services in need by reason of living with Dementia / Alzheimer’s or undiagnosed memory loss and to relieve the needs of their families and carers by providing ongoing support.

To relieve serving members of the armed forces and emergency services in need by reason of having family members who are living with Dementia / Alzheimer’s or undiagnosed memory loss by providing support.
