Veterans Dementia Support UK is a fully volunteer-led community organization. As a registered charity, we do not receive any funding from the Government or the NHS. We rely entirely on the generosity of supporters like you to keep our doors open.

Every single pound donated goes directly toward maintaining our vital lifelines and helping us expand our reach to more veterans and families across the UK.

Where Your Money Goes

We believe in complete financial transparency. When you donate to Veterans Dementia Support UK, here is exactly how your money is put to work:

• £20 covers the running costs of our vital Telephone Support Services for a week, answering around 30 calls from lonely or struggling carers.

• £25 covers the cost of running one local community dementia support hub for a week. (We currently run 4 essential hubs every single week).

• £25 covers the cost to train 25 volunteers as Dementia Friends, equipping them with deep understanding and practical skills to run safe activities.

• £50 covers the cost of personalized Telephone Support and Postal Packs, delivering crucial information directly to isolated veterans nationwide.

• £150 covers the entire annual cost of keeping our website online, ensuring families in crisis can find our helpline 24/7.
